Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Northmark Vault processes, ships, and delivers orders placed through www.northmarkvault.com.

1. Order Processing Times

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday during normal business hours, excluding recognized holidays.

Standard product orders typically ship within 72 business hours of confirmed payment. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Custom builds, pre-built replicas, and technical services are subject to separate turnaround times provided at the time of estimate or purchase. These timelines are independent of standard shipping processing times.

Processing times may be extended during high-volume periods, holidays, product launches, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

2. Shipping Methods and Rates

Shipping rates and available carriers are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and shipping method selected.

Tracking information will be provided when available once the order has shipped.

We reserve the right to select the most appropriate carrier when necessary to ensure safe delivery.

3. Delivery Estimates

Carrier-provided delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Northmark Vault is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • Carrier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Customs processing
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund of shipping charges.

4. Insurance Coverage

Shipping insurance may be included or offered at checkout depending on order value and carrier.

For high-value orders, customers are strongly encouraged to select insured shipping when available.

If insurance is declined where optional, Northmark Vault is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage once the package has been accepted by the carrier.

Claims for insured shipments must be initiated in accordance with carrier requirements and may require customer cooperation.

5. Signature Confirmation

For high-value custom builds or replicas, Northmark Vault may require signature confirmation upon delivery.

If a signature-required delivery is refused, missed, or returned to sender, additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

6. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title transfer to the customer once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier, unless otherwise required by law.

If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but cannot be located, the customer must contact the carrier directly to initiate an investigation or claim.

Northmark Vault will assist with documentation when reasonably requested but is not responsible for carrier errors after delivery confirmation.

7. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Northmark Vault is not responsible for:

  • Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
  • Delivery failures caused by incomplete or inaccurate information

If a package is returned due to address error:

  • The customer is responsible for reshipment costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

8. Shipping Damage

If a package arrives visibly damaged:

  • Retain all packaging materials
  • Photograph the damage immediately
  • Notify Northmark Vault within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect claim eligibility.

Damage claims may require cooperation with the shipping carrier and submission of documentation.

9. International Shipping

If international shipping is offered, customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees
  • Compliance with local laws

Northmark Vault is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, or packages seized due to local regulations.

Orders returned due to unpaid duties or refused customs clearance may be subject to return shipping fees and restocking fees where applicable.

10. Local Pickup

If local pickup is offered:

  • Customers will be notified when the order is ready
  • Valid identification may be required at pickup
  • Risk of loss transfers at the time of pickup

Unclaimed local pickup orders may be subject to storage fees after 30 days.

11. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment by contacting us as soon as possible.

If an order has already been processed, packaged, or shipped, cancellation may not be possible.

Custom builds, pre-builds, and service deposits are governed by our Terms of Service and may not be eligible for cancellation once work has begun.
