CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, this cylinder head features a specialized single-piece rubber impact pad that serves a dual purpose: it absorbs the kinetic energy of the piston head to protect the gearbox shell while simultaneously sealing the connection between the cylinder and cylinder head for an airtight assembly. By eliminating the need for traditional external O-rings, this integrated shrouded design ensures that even during high-speed operation or with high-stress DSG builds, the seal remains firmly attached and provides 100% airtight performance.
