The F.L.T. 5.9mm CNC Steel Bushings are professional-grade internal components engineered specifically for the Tokyo Marui Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) gearbox. Unlike factory plastic bushings, these are CNC-machined from high-strength steel, providing the extreme durability required for high-stress and high-velocity builds. Each bushing is burnished in a vibratory tumbler to remove machining peaks, followed by a precision reaming process to ensure a perfectly smooth internal axle opening. To achieve a professional-grade installation, Northmark Vault recommends using Loctite 638 or a similar sleeve retainer to adhere them to the shell, alongside Prometheus centering pins to ensure every bushing is perfectly flush and centered.

Technical Specifications:

  • Material Construction: CNC-machined from high-speed steel for maximum strength and wear resistance.
  • Precision Tolerances: Axle openings are reamed to a tight tolerance of +/- 0.001" to ensure consistent gear alignment.
  • Hardness Rating: Features a Rockwell hardness of HRC 50–55, significantly higher than standard sintered bushings.
  • Low Profile Fit: Designed with a 0.56mm flange thickness to provide maximum shimming space and clear external moving parts.
  • Installation Recommendation: Northmark Vault recommends Loctite 638 for adhesion and Prometheus centering pins for alignment.
  • Surface Treatment: Media-blasted outer surface to provide a textured surface for enhanced sleeve retainer adhesion.
  • Internal Finish: Ultra-smooth, burnished interior for zero-resistance gear axle rotation.
  • Size Specification: Optimized 5.9mm outer diameter for a perfect press-fit in TM NGRS gearbox shells.
  • Protection Coating: Coated in silicone oil to prevent oxidation; should be degreased before applying sleeve retainer.
