The F.L.T. 8mm CNC Steel Bushings are professional-grade internal components widely considered the strongest available in the airsoft industry. Unlike standard sintered or PIM bushings that typically have a Rockwell hardness of HRC 25–35, these are CNC-machined from high-speed tool steel and heat-treated to a hardness of HRC 50–55. Each bushing is burnished in a vibratory tumbler and has reamed gear axle openings to ensure a precision fit and ultra-smooth rotation. To achieve a professional-grade installation, Northmark Vault recommends using Loctite 638 or a similar sleeve retainer to adhere them to the shell, alongside Prometheus centering pins to ensure every bushing is perfectly flush and centered.
