The JVAN 9:1 DSG Gearset is an extreme-performance internal drivetrain engineered for professional-grade airsoft builds requiring the highest achievable rate of fire. Manufactured by JVA) using advanced CNC machining, this set features a Dual Sector Gear that cycles the piston twice for every single rotation of the sector gear. The gears are milled from high-density 40Cr steel and subjected to a multi-stage heat treatment process to handle the intense mechanical stress of rapid cycling. This 9:1 ratio provides elite-level trigger response and is designed for technicians who demand precision-cut tooth geometry and superior drivetrain durability for specialized high-speed configurations.
Technical Specifications:
- Precision Manufacturing: Sector and spur gears are fully CNC-milled from 40Cr steel; the bevel gear features a CNC-machined center shaft for maximum alignment.
- Extreme Speed Ratio: 9:1 gear ratio combined with a Dual Sector Gear (DSG) architecture for nearly instantaneous cycle completion.
- 8-Tooth DSG Profile: Features a dual 8-tooth gear rack configuration on the sector gear, specifically designed to double the rate of fire relative to motor RPM.
- Material Hardness: Components are heat-treated to HRC 42–50 for the gear teeth and HRC 55–60 for the shafts to prevent deformation under high-stress loads.
- Surface Treatment: Finished with a professional polishing and blackening process to ensure a low-friction surface and enhanced wear resistance.
- Refined Geometry: Optimized tooth shapes with 15° chamfering to reduce friction and minimize mechanical noise during extreme-speed rotation.
- Universal Compatibility: Engineered for standard Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes (M4, AK, MP5, etc.) utilizing 3mm gear axles.
- Northmark Vault Recommendation: Due to the 8-tooth stroke, a high-tension spring is required to maintain desired muzzle energy and prevent Piston Pre-Engagement (PME).
