The PDI 6.05 inner barrel is one of the very best in the industry. The barrel is cold hammer forged in Japan out of SUS304 stainless steel, which makes it both durable and very straight and consistent. The inner bore diameter is 6.05mm, which makes it practical for most setups. The reason why we at Northmark Vault prefer 6.05 for an inner bore comes down to durability. When using a 6.01mm inner barrel, for example, you must ensure that the barrel is cleaned regularly. When using low quality BBs, or even tracer BBs, or dirt and grime, residue can build up extremely fast, causing frequent jams and accuracy issues. This is especially prevalent in high rate of fire builds. Using 6.05 as an inner bore diameter will help solve most, if not all of these issues.
