The Retro Arms CNC Stainless Steel Cylinder Type D is a high-precision internal compression component designed for long-barrel AEG and DMR builds. Precisely machined from high-grade stainless steel, it undergoes a specialized thermochemical treatment to achieve a surface hardness of 630 HBA, ensuring extreme wear resistance and a long service life. The internal bore is finished to a high polish to minimize frictional resistance against the piston head O-ring, while its larger internal diameter offers a "bore up" style profile for increased air volume. While air volume is ultimately dependent on both your chosen BB weight and barrel length, this Type D cylinder provides the optimal volume outline for long platforms with inner barrels ranging from 370mm to 650mm.
