The SPARK Extreme Bevel Gear Kai delivers a Japanese engineered mechanical solution to gear train failures and high-stress timing in AEGs. Manufactured in Japan by AIRSOFT97, this precision-machined bevel gear features composite dual-steel metallurgy and an optimized tooth profile designed to drastically reduce gear noise and mesh seamlessly with high-torque pinions. This component serves two crucial engineering purposes:
  1. Dual-Material Impact Resistance: The spur/spur teeth are cut from high-strength S45C steel, while the umbrella/bevel teeth utilize flexible, quiet-running SUM24L steel—both treated to a surface hardness of HV700 via quenching and nitriding to prevent shearing.
  2. Ultra-Dense Anti-Reversal Precision: Features an advanced 10-step anti-reversal latch interface(compared to standard 2 or 4-step gears) ensuring near-instantaneous latch engagement. This eliminates gear back-spin entirely, significantly sharpening trigger response on advanced pre-cocking setups.

Technical Specifications:

  • Material: S45C high-strength steel (spur teeth) & SUM24L flexible structural steel (bevel teeth)
  • Hardness Treatment: Hardened quenching and nitriding (HV700 surface rating)
  • Latch Engagement Points: 10-Stop high-density anti-reversal system
  • Package Contents: 1x Extreme Bevel Gear Kai
  • Compatibility: Standard Version 2 and Version 3 AEG gearboxes, matching standard ratios, DSG (Dual Sector Gear) builds, and brushless motor setups
  • Origin: 100% Made in Japan
  • Design: Acoustic-optimized tooth geometry for the lowest mechanical gear noise available
Tech & Safety Warning: Highly recommended for advanced setups utilizing high-stress pre-cocking or active-braking Electronic Trigger Units (ETUs) where traditional cast zinc-alloy OEM factory gears routinely strip or fail.
